August 12 - Scotland (part 4)

Scottish breakfast

Our last day in Scotland started out with David cooking a Scottish breakfast. It consisted of link sausage, eggs, lorne, black pudding and haggis. It was quite tasty and a good way to start off the day. Our flight was later in the day so we had to drop the car back at the airport around 2pm. We worked out with David and Louise a few things to see in the morning, such as a Highland Cow amongst other things.

Culross – where they filmed part of Outlander

We went and visited another place called Culross. For fans of Outlander, you may see it in a number of scenes (I haven’t seen it, but might have to watch at some stage). The interior was interesting as was the garden (lots of berries etc. to snack on).

Finally, we had to head to Edinburgh Airport to drop off the car and get our plane to Paris.
